In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a tragic single-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach resulted in the death of a man from Fountain Valley.
According to a news release from the Huntington Beach police, the victim was riding a white Ducati Monster motorcycle in a northbound direction on Main Street. Preliminary findings indicate that the rider made an “unsafe turning movement,” causing the motorcycle to collide with a tree north of Orange Avenue.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., authorities were alerted to the scene, where they discovered the motorcyclist lying on the roadway. He was swiftly transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead. The identity of the 33-year-old victim is being withheld until his relatives can be notified.
