San Diego, California — A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a collision involving two other vehicles on Interstate 805 near North Park early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. when the motorcyclist, traveling northbound on I-805 near University Avenue, collided with a Chevrolet Silverado. The impact caused the rider to lose control, leading to a secondary collision with a Toyota van.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, and the injured motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist’s identity has not been disclosed. Fortunately, no other individuals involved in the incident sustained injuries.
CHP officers reported that all parties involved in the crash remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation. As of now, no additional information has been released regarding the circumstances leading to the accident.
