Fresno Motorcycle Collision Claims Man’s Life

[Fresno, California] In a devastating incident on Tuesday evening, a motorcycle collision resulted in the death of Ian Collins, a 39-year-old resident of Fresno. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office officially identified Collins as the victim.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. at the intersection of Auberry Road and Reno Avenue, which is situated two miles north of Copper Avenue.

Reports indicate that Collins was traveling southbound on Auberry Road on a Harley Davidson Dyna when he lost control, unable to maintain his lane of travel. As a result, Collins laid down his motorcycle, leading to his ejection from the vehicle. Tragically, Collins was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP has reported that Collins was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Furthermore, alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the Fresno motorcycle collision, although the investigation is still ongoing.
