Fresno Man Killed in High-Speed Motorcycle Crash

44-year-old Jason Missakian from Fresno was identified by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Office as the man who died in a high-speed motorcycle crash on Maple Avenue near Washington Avenue in east-central Fresno on Saturday afternoon.

According to the police, they received multiple reports about a man lying on the roadway following the crash at around 4 p.m. Sadly, Missakian was already dead when the police arrived, and his motorcycle was found further down the street.

The motorcyclist had been ejected off the bike and sustained fatal injuries. Detectives investigating the accident say that witness statements and evidence collected suggested that the motorcycle was speeding when it collided with a dark-colored SUV that had just turned left onto a side street.

The Fresno motorcycle crash highlights the dangers that motorcyclists face on the road every day. The Fresno police is urging motorists to be extra cautious and to look out for motorcyclists, who are more vulnerable due to the lack of protection their vehicles provide.

The police are also urging motorcyclists to ride with extreme caution and follow all traffic laws in order to keep themselves safe. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Missakian during this difficult time.
