Californian Motorcyclist Dies in Flathead County Crash

A tragic incident unfolded in Flathead County on Tuesday evening when a 41-year-old Californian man lost his life in a motorcycle accident near Whitefish. As per the Montana Highway Patrol (MHP), the mishap took place around 6:15 p.m. at the Hodgson Road and Hare Trail junction.

The motorbike veered off the road, rolled, and subsequently collided with a power pole. Tragically, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the crash site. Preliminary investigations by the MHP indicate that impaired driving, excessive speed, or both could be contributing factors. It’s also noted that the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time.
