Two Killed in Motorcycle Crash During El Cajon Police Chase

El Cajon, California – A 42-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman lost their lives Saturday night in a motorcycle crash while fleeing from El Cajon police. The tragic incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. on East Main Street.

El Cajon police attempted to pull over a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a traffic violation near Greenfield Drive, according to Lt. Darrin Forster. The motorcyclist sped away, heading west on East Main Street at a high rate of speed.

The motorcycle crashed into the rear of a Toyota Tacoma and a Hyundai Sonata near North Second Street. Both the driver and his passenger suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been disclosed.

El Cajon police are investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information to call (619) 579-3311. The investigation aims to uncover more details about the circumstances leading to the crash.
