Authorities have officially identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred over the Fourth of July weekend in San Diego County. Jorge Villa, a 33-year-old resident of Temecula, tragically lost his life in the incident on westbound SR-76 in Pauma Valley.
According to reports from the California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Villa attempted to overtake a pickup truck around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday when his motorcycle collided with the driver’s side.
The impact caused Villa to lose control, ultimately leading to a collision with a tree. Sadly, Villa succumbed to his injuries at the crash site.
