Rider Injured in a Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101

San Jose, California – On Tuesday morning, September 12, 2023, a motorcycle accident on Highway 101 occurred, resulting in the rider sustaining minor injuries, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred around 7:36 a.m. on the northbound lane of Highway 101, just south of the Yerba Buena Road off-ramp. Upon arrival, first responders discovered the motorcycle lying on the third lane of the highway. It had collided with a Chevrolet sedan, causing the rider to suffer minor injuries.

At the scene, a white Ford F-250 was positioned to prevent the rider from being exposed to the danger of oncoming traffic, although this Ford was not directly involved in the collision itself.
