MOUNTAIN VIEW, California – A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a severe collision on Shoreline Boulevard this Tuesday afternoon, north of Villa Street. The Mountain View Police Department is actively investigating the incident, which has left the rider hospitalized with serious injuries.
Details of the Incident
The collision was reported to police dispatchers at approximately 1:53 p.m. on Jan. 7. Upon arrival, officers found the motorcyclist unconscious on the roadway. They administered first aid until the Mountain View Fire Department paramedics arrived to continue treatment and transport the rider to a local hospital.
While the exact cause of the collision remains unknown, authorities confirmed that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.

Northbound lanes of Shoreline Boulevard were closed near Villa Street as local traffic officers collected evidence and interviewed witnesses.
