Motorcycle Crash in San Diego Leads to Tragic Amputation

San Diego, California — In an unfortunate motorcycle crash in San Diego last Saturday, a motorcyclist suffered severe injuries, resulting in the amputation of his leg. 

The accident occurred approximately at 6:34 P.M. on the 5200 block of Imperial Avenue near Valencia Park. The victim, whose age remains undisclosed, was riding a 2022 Harley Davidson MC westbound when he struggled to handle a curve in the road. This miscalculation led to a catastrophic collision with a vehicle parked legally along the curb.

The impact forcefully ejected the rider from his motorcycle, causing him to sustain multiple fractures in his right leg. In a critical state, he was rushed to a local hospital. The gravity of his condition intensified as he experienced cardiac arrest twice prior to undergoing surgery. Unfortunately, the extent of his leg injuries necessitated amputation. His current condition is deemed life-threatening.
