STANISLAUS COUNTY, California — Tragedy struck on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, when a rider lost his life in a fatal motorcycle crash with a tractor-trailer near Waterford. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), they received a report about the crash shortly after 10:30 a.m. Officers swiftly responded to the scene along Highway 132, in the vicinity of Blossom Road.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a tractor-trailer was attempting a left turn when, under circumstances yet to be determined, a motorcyclist traveling in the same direction collided with the left side of the larger vehicle. Tragically, the motorcycle rider, identified as a 23-year-old resident of Modesto, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision, as confirmed by CHP officers at the scene.
