San Luis Obispo County, California — A 26-year-old man from Arroyo Grande was killed in a motorcycle crash on Price Canyon Road on Monday evening.
The incident occurred on June 3, 2024, at approximately 9:23 p.m. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers from the San Luis Obispo office responded to the scene following reports of a fatal traffic accident. The crash took place on the westbound lane of Price Canyon Road, east of Thousand Hills Road.
According to a CHP press release, the solo rider was operating a 2022 Yamaha MT-09 when he collided with a guardrail. The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency personnel pronounced the 26-year-old dead at the scene at 9:37 p.m. The CHP noted that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
