Fallbrook, California — A 40-year-old woman lost her life following a motorcycle crash in Fallbrook on Sunday evening.
California Highway Patrol officers from the Oceanside branch responded to reports of a motorcycle accident near Via Monserate and Linda Vista Drive at approximately 7:50 p.m.
The woman was riding a black Harley Davidson Dyna Glide Low Rider westbound on Via Monserate when her motorcycle overturned for reasons still under investigation. She then collided with a nearby retaining wall.
Emergency responders transported the injured woman to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have stated that they do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be contributing factors in the crash. The woman’s identity will be disclosed by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident is ongoing.
